Palm Cove

This beach village has always been an excellent spot for fishing, even before it became a place of holiday resorts. Its waters contain fishes such as School Mackerel, Spanish mackerel, Queenfish, Giant Trevally, Sharks, Yellowtail, Stripey, and Barramundi. The time that fishes migrate through the charnel between palm cove and the Double island is the best time of the year for fishing, and many locals take advantage of this annual run to catch the best. While the jetty is the best place to catch fishes, you can also try fishing on the rocks nearby; the only issue is that they are not comfortable and protected like the jetty.

If you’re looking for a getaway, whether it is for your company staff, your family or your friend, Palm Cove is a great place to come to. This coastal village is a unique place that offers a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic scenery. It is not called palm Cove for no reason, the village is filled with different palm trees so you will enjoy your best coconut here. Commonly called the spa capital of Australia, there are lot of activities you can do while you’re there from kayaking across the channel to the neighbouring double island, eating great food in its five-star restaurants, visiting the rainforest of Kuranda, and most importantly, fishing.

We offer boat charters and fishing tours that give you the chance to enjoy the waters and scenery of Palm Cove. Whether you plan to fish in the shallow waters or you want a more daring experience out there in the ocean, we can provide all you want for as long as you want it. Palm Cove is just about a half-hour drive from Cairns, which makes it an excellent place to visit, even if you’re only spending half a day.
